This September 1, 2021, the City of Paris launches its eco-friendly brand, “A portée demain”, including a first range of solid beauty products and battery powered bicycles. To accompany the launching of the brand, an event expects Parisians and tourists in the Paris Rendez-Vous pop-up store including workshops, conferences and exhibitions to discover green behavior!

You may have seen campaign posters for “A portée demain” in Paris showing squared loaves of soap, without truly understanding what that was. Paris city hall is actually launching an eco-friendly brand based on natural origin products and innovative compositions, made in France, aiming at being vegan and wasteless. So far, only cosmetics developed by PACHAMAMAI and battery powered bicycles are available, but the catalog is to expand soon.

According to director Gildas Robert, the idea is to accompany people in their choice of consumption with labelled products, as it is already the case with 250 “Ville de Paris” products. It is also about turning the municipal action into common awareness. The benefits collected through the products of this new brand will actually help to finance actions led by the city in the Environment field.

To accompany the launching of the brand, the city of Paris provides workshops at Paris Rendez-Vous:

  • Cooking workshop with Chloé Charles (Top Chef 2021 France contestant), Saturday September 4 in the morning
2 workshops for 6 people are available. Compulsory registration.

  • Conference about 0 plastic with the Agence de l’Ecologie Urbaine, Wednesday September 1, in the morning
    General public, free admission.

  • Create your own multi-task organic balm with Pachamamaï, Saturday September 11 in the afternoon
1 workshop for 8 is available. Compulsory registration.

  • Revolutionize your bathroom and kitchen: move to natural and zero-waste! By Ludvina Sanchez (Founder of Pachamamaï), Wednesday September 8 in the afternoon
    General public, free admission.

  • DIY wood window box with Chutes Libres, Saturday September 18 in the morning
2 workshops for 6 are available. Compulsory registration.

Besides, the A portée demain movie shines a light on the city’s initiatives and innovative citizen actions in the environment field and an immersive listening area will play a collection of “Brève de Nature Sauvage à Paris” podcast from September 13, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
