The Olympic and Paralympic Week is back from February 1 to 6, 2021 in France. Goal: promoting sport and gather young people together around citizen and sport-based values in preparation for Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. A website provides key entertainments to school to host this week, and the City of Paris even planned a game box for fifth graders in Paris.

It’s an Olympic Sport celebration in Paris and in France! The 5th edition of the Olympic and Paralympic Week of Paris 2024 is back in Île-de-France and Paris schools from February 1 to 6, 2021. The occasion to meet French athletes and to take part in the Terre de Jeux 2024 challenge.

The OIC even created a fun label: Terre de Jeux 2024. In 2020, a challenge was held. Schools set in a Terre de Jeux 2024-labelled community had to promote sport and Olympic and Paralympic values to the youth and through education. As a bonus? Meeting athletes as well as enjoying brainstorming sessions with Paris 2024 teams on sports and education.

In 2021, things change - surely because of coronavirus. The committee then offers sports activities in schools and places in the Terre de Jeux 2024 areas. They will have two challenges to complete to name a torch bearer for Tokyo games and enable to win bibs for Paris Olympics marathon that will be open to all.
