Château de Thoiry gardens will once again welcome you for the terrific yearly eggs hunt that is so loved by kids. Do not miss this outing on Sunday April 17 and Monday 18, 2022, giving you access to thousands of chocolate eggs.

In the family of eggs hunts in Paris surrounding, the one held by Thoiry zoo is undoubtedly one of the most attractive for kids. For the anecdote, you should know that this egg hunt has been held for already 40 years. At first, it was invented by the Comte and Comtesse de La Panouse for their own children. This treasure hunt, as you can tell, quickly pleased many kids and became a must-event for visitors.

For this edition 2022, not less than 5,000 colorful chocolate eggs will be hidden in the château smallest corners, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year again, 15 “surprise” eggs or one of the 3 bunnies will give to the luckiest one a prize. Keep your eyes open!

And because the smallest one can also try their luck, an area suited to their size and age will be open with custom-made hiding places.

Moving on to animals, they too celebrate Easter! How, you will ask me? Well, you should know that they enjoy frozen syrup and fruits eggs especially created for primates, while carnivores will have eggs made out of meat… During the feeding animations or at a turn in the path, pay attention and observe animals enjoying their treats!

No Pâques 2022 at the Château de Thoiry is:

• 5,000 colorful eggs hidden in the zoo
• A simple and working rule:
  • 3/5 years old: 3 eggs of the same color
  • 6/11 years old: 5 eggs of the same color
• The right combo per child = 4 chocolate eggs (8,000 eggs planned, to reward all children)
• A reception desk to transform combinations into chocolate at the Camp des yourtes
• Bonuses: for the luckiest hunters, they can also find one of the 15 big eggs or one of the 3 bunnies. In exchange, they will get a big chocolate prize by CEMOI.
• Surprise eggs and bunnies will also enable to win tickets for the ZooSafari and other surprises.

To access Thoiry's egg hunt, you only have to have a date-stamped Zoosafari ticket bought online, or your CSE ticket / non-date stamped ticket to visit the ZooSafari or a yearly Pass.
