The Thoiry ZooSafari continues to innovate, and it's not over yet, with major projects in the pipeline for the next few years. Between the new lodges, the light trail, the green vehicle safaris, the new arrivals and the births, the Thoiry Zoo has some great discoveries in store for us.
This year, the 21st and final stage of the Tour de France will depart from the Yvelines, specifically from the town of Thoiry. You’ll be able to watch the start for free, with a host of free activities on the program, on July 26, 2026.

Zoo de Thoiry as you’ve never seen it before! From July 15, 2017, Zoo de Thoiry offers guided tours within the pens thanks to a safari shuttle. For 90 minutes, we learn a lot about the 500 residents of the zoo. Bears, lions, wildebeests and hippos are closer than you can ever imagine.
