The coronavirus epidemic goes on in France. This Thursday January 20, 2022, after a health defense council, Prime Minister Jean Castex has shared a calendar easing measures. Three key dates have been given during the brief: January 24, as well as February 2 and 16, 2022. Here is what changes from the first stage of this schedule.
The vaccine pass comes into effect starting from January 24, 2022, in France, for people over 16 years of age. It replaces the health pass in places it was required: cultural places (movie theaters, museums, theaters…), cafés, bars and restaurants, places open to the public (escape rooms), zoos, theme parks and so on.
The health pass is yet still required for 12-15 years old, as well as to access social-medical facilities. As for the vaccine pass, it is to be delivered upon three criteria: complete vaccine scheme, natural immunity following covid-19 contamination, or a vaccination contraindication certificate.
