Confidential museum in Paris, Espace Dali has been welcoming the greatest private collection of Salvador Dali's work for 25 years. After closing for 4 months for embellishment works, Espace Dali is to reopen on April 13, 2018 with a new visit route, a new offer thought to revitalize the museum.

Rediscover Salvador Dali's work from April 13, 2018 in Montmartre at Espace Dali. A space that opened only two years after the artist’s death, in 1991, by eminent gallery owner and Italian collector Beniammino Levi, the museum welcomes every year some 150,000 visitors from all over the world.

After 25 years of exhibitions, Adeline Rispal architecture office – known for the work on France Pavilion during the universal exposition in Milan in 2015, or the MUCEM (the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations) – has been entrusted with bringing the museum back to its former glory.

The idea behind such renovations? “Redrawing the museum volumes and imagine a new staging” while telling “a special story about Dali’s art career that is voluntarily partial because it highlights a part of his work that is less known but puts an essential light on his technic and his creativity”.

To enable to organize exhibitions, the central walls spins around a pilar, an innovation that will be very appreciated in the course of time.

The first presentation evolves around 6 themes, cut but not divided, we can stroll between erotic metamorphoses or the galacidalacidesoxyribonucleicacid  (a neologism used by Dali based on Gala - his wife - and deoxyribonucleic acid), an area that gathers works with a scientific reasoning.
