Can you hear the tintinnabulation in the distance? Fred jewelry house hosts their first retrospective exhibition from September 28 to October 24, 2022, at the Palais de Tokyo in Paris 16th arrondissement.
This Fall, be blown-away by the wonderful history and heritage of Maison Fred for a never-before-seen and free exhibition. The brand unveils secrets about 85 years of bold creativity through an immersive tour inspired by the life and character of the founder, Fred Samuel, in a dozen exhibition rooms.
What to expect, then? 450 jewels and iconic accessories by the house, drawings and unique archive pieces, photographs, videos and exclusive stories. And especially the “Soleil D’or” – Sun of Gold – the famous Fancy Yellow diamond that weighs over a hundred carats, and named like so by the jewelry to pay tribute to the light of the French Riviera, so dear to Fred Samuel.
The compelling exhibition is made possible thanks to the help of the designer’s granddaughter, Valérie Samuel, current vice-president and art director at Fred. She went on the look for the house’s masterpieces in order to tell the story of the fantastic brand at the Paris museum.
Unparalleled treasures to discover in September 2022, upon reservation. And if you are into jewels, you can leave with the traditional “souvenir” book or an exhibition catalog published by Beaux-Arts.
