A unique way to discover or rediscover Gaston Leroux’s novel… this is what Paris opera offers you from June 9, 2018 with Inside Opera, a collaborative and immersive experience between the escape game and the life-size investigation. Thought up by Team Break, one of the leaders in terms of escape game, by RERE and Productions Adonis, this experience invites players to go on an adventure in the footsteps of the Phantom of the Opera, a famous character from the French literature. A new immersive game by Inside said to last until August 2019.
The history is rather surprising: the day before the great premiere of Mozart’s Magic Flute, during the dress rehearsals, the director panics and weird events happen: costumes disappear, one listen to mumbles in the corridors… there is every reason to believe the Phantom who settled in the box number 5, is for something. Visitors will have to try and solve the problem of the Phantom’s curse and free him by solving a whole bunch of enigmas within the very building, with the help of comedians in period costumes who host the experience for a total immersion.
A very original visit the editorial board tried and recommends you: beyond some tricky enigmas that needed the help of comedians, the immersion is complete and it’s very fun. We particularly love the final that proposes a mini concert of Mozart’s Magic Flute. And we also love the comedians’ acting as if they were possessed by their roles.
On your own or with a team, players can roam around Paris Opera and discover the varied emblematic areas: the Grand Escalier, the Avant Foyer, the Salon du Glacier and even the Phantom’s box. Another way to visit one of Paris greatest monuments. Let’s book it, friends!
