As part of the Japanese gardens in Ile-de-France stands the city of Colombes in Hauts-de-Seine (92). This lovely park, renovated in 2017 as requested by locals who wanted a convivial and friendly park, is the only park in the area.
It required 6-month’s work to rise this Japanese-inspired garden. On site, enjoy 3,800sqm of garden, with a harmonious and relaxing layout. Among the main plants often found in Japanese gardens: azaleas, irises, bamboos, rhododendrons, magnolias and more trimmed trees and pine trees, as well as a gorgeous red and gold pagoda.
Japanese lantern, red bridge, and river perfect this Japanese décor. On the menu, a small playground inspired by Japanese gardens for children looking for some fun.
In other words, if you happen to be on the look for a human-sized Japanese garden displaying a relaxing and colorful setting, here is the place to go. Shall we get a break in the Country of the Rising Sun, then?
