Being at Disneyland Paris and making the most of your day - or weekend - is often an obstacle course... Buying tickets, waiting times at attractions, restaurants... there are so many little details to think about.
And for those who want to get the most out of their day, or at least make the most of it (tickets aren't cheap, either), the editors have put together a few tips to help you make the most of your day or your stay, and turn your day or weekend into a magical experience.
Let's start with tickets. To avoid queues at the park entrance (at least once this service is offered to visitors again, as it has been suspended due to Covid, except for "friends" tickets (for annual passports)), it's best to book your ticket on the park's website. As the latter has kept visitor quotas, you are also guaranteed access to the parks.
Note that you can also try to buy your tickets on reseller sites, at the same prices, but these are not dated (a range of dates is offered). You'll need to go to the Disneyland Paris website and register your tickets for the desired date, subject to availability. You'll pay the same price and you're guaranteed access to the parks on the date you choose.
Once you're on site, there are several options: if you've budgeted for it, you can buy"Premier Access" tickets either on theDisneyland Paris app or at City Hall on Main Street. These take the place of Fast Past tickets, allowing you to queue less by using a different access route to the attractions. Don't delay too long in the day either, as the number of Premier Accesses is limited. The later in the day you arrive, the more likely it is that the attraction you want to visit will be sold out.
Note that not all attractions are affected, and prices vary from one to another. Here's the list of attractions covered by Premier Access One tickets, and their prices:

Alternatively, there's the Premier Access Ultimate solution. What does it involve? This ticket gives you access to all the attractions on the above list once a day. If you opt for this ticket, be sure to budget for it, as it's particularly expensive (from 90 euros per person per day).
Another, less costly solution is to regularly check the waiting times for attractions on the Disneyland Paris app, and depending on where you are, head for the attraction with the shortest waiting time closest to you. This saves you a fair amount of time, allowing you to take in one or two more attractions during the day. Please note that waiting times are often overestimated by 2-3 minutes.
Want to have lunch in one of the resort's restaurants? Don't forget to reserve a table to avoid queuing at the entrance. You can reserve your table on theDisneyland Paris app, with time slots, at the park's call center(+33 (0)1 60 30 40 50), at your hotel concierge (if you're staying in a Disney hotel) or at City Hall, on Main Street.
As for restaurants, if you're looking for an inexpensive option, we recommend Casey's Corner (Main Street, between 2 and 11 euros), Café Hypérion (Discoveryland, between 15 and 20 euros for a menu, 6.80 euros for a snack break), En Coulisse (Walt Disney Studios Park, Studio 1, between 14 and 19 euros for a menu), Hakuna Matata (Adventureland, between 9 and 16 euros for a menu) or Last Chance Café (Frontierland, between 3.80 and 9 euros).
Looking for a good seat at the shows and parades? Here are the times for the main indoor and outdoor shows:

It's up to you to get there 10 to 15 minutes beforehand, around Central Plaza or on Main Street for the 30th anniversary show(Rêvons... et le Monde s'illumine), as well as for Disney Stars On Parade. As far as theatrical shows are concerned, note that some offer special tickets guaranteeing you a seat. Examples include The Lion King and the Rhythms of the Earth at Froniterland, and Mickey and the Magician at Animagic Theatre at Walt Disney Studios. Hard ticket cost: 15 euros per person.
Also note that during the parades and outdoor shows, the attractions are partly empty, as most visitors go to see the shows, especially the parade. So this is the ideal time to take in your favorite attractions without having to queue too long. Note also that it's best not to be in Discoveryland at parade time, as the parade route will block your access to the rest of the park... Unless you want to enjoy the attractions in the area.
Staying in one of the resort's hotels? Take advantage of the "Magic Plus" hours and access the parks before the official opening time. You can either already do the attractions that are already open, or get in the queue for busy attractions in the morning and avoid the queue by arriving later.
