As it happens every year now, you’re expected at the Parc de Sceaux to celebrate with joy and good mood the spring festival, Hanami, celebrated by Japanese.
Everyone wishing to discover the Hanami tradition or simply enjoy spring is invited to meet on April 20 and 21, 2019 in the city center of Sceaux and the Parc de Sceaux.
This year, the event is even more fleshes out. In addition to the usual Awa Odori parade completed by Tsunagari Ren company, the event welcomes 2 musician associations that will play the Sanshin (a small guitar from south Japan) and the Shinobue (traditional transverse flute).
Also on the menu, the International Wado festival created by band Takarabune in Tokyo. Naming 7 dancers and musicians from Japan. This year as well, we discover artisans withing the Village Tsunagari Artisans (Yumiko and Kimono Rikiki).
Come and take part in a big and festive picnic likely to make you travel. Nothing in the fridge? No problem, the delicious Food Truck Peko Peko will be here. Relax, have fun and celebrate warmer days.
On Saturday, you’re expected in the city center for beautiful festivities, starting midday to enjoy Peko Peko delicious dishes, as well as workshops, dance parades…
On Sunday, head to the Fontenay aisle, by the northern thicket. Careful though, picnic and entertainments being bigger, prior registration is mandatory and free of charge to take part in. A sure way to limit and know the exact number of participants: online ticketing service.
