To coincide with Paris Design Week 2025, from September 4 to 13, the courtyard of the Archives nationales will host the monumental, free, interactive work "577 chaises: l'hémicycle citoyen" (577 chairs: the citizen's hemicycle). Echoing the 577 seats of the French National Assembly, each unique reused chair becomes a voice for sitting... and thinking. The installation runs until September 21 for the Journées du Patrimoine and the Festival du Monde.
