Ballon de Paris: free scientific flights open to the general public during COP30

On the occasion of COP30, the Ballon de Paris is inviting the general public to enjoy free scientific flights, reaching altitudes of up to 300 meters. Find out more about these free flights (available by reservation) from November 8 to 21, 2025, from 8 to 9 a.m.

It's a unique experience, thanks to the famous Paris balloon in the Parc André-Citroën. After a three-month absence, the aircraft has returned to the 15th arrondissement, offering the most curious 10-minute flights at an altitude of 150 meters. Ballon de Paris at the Parc André-Citroën: the balloon was inflated before flights resumed.

After a three-month absence, the famous Paris balloon returns to the Parc André-Citroën. New educational display, new challenges... the balloon aims to become an "environmental and health watchdog in the face of global warming". Prior to the resumption of flights, scheduled for mid-April, the new structure was inflated on Thursday April 10, 2025.

Flying over Paris in a balloon has been possible since 1999 on the lawn of the Parc André Citroën with the Ballon de Paris, now also known as the Ballon Generali. To take in the view, breathe in the air and amaze the kids, try out an original ride in the world's largest balloon.
