Eiffel Tower: A List of 72 Female Scientists to Be Inscribed on the Parisian Landmark

Marie Curie, Angélique du Coudray, Alice Recoque, and Yvonne Bruhat are among the 72 women scientists whose names will soon be engraved on the Eiffel Tower. They will join the 72 male scientists already inscribed on the Parisian monument.

This autumn 2017, the Panthéon celebrates the career of Marie Curie, the scientist buried at the Panthéon, in a temporary exhibition. Just a few meters from the scientist's vault, scientific instruments, period documents and personal effects tell the impressive story of the woman who changed the face of the world, from November 8, 2017 to March 4, 2018!
