Heated terraces: the ban comes into effect this April 1, 2022, in France

This measure was to be implemented in the spring 2021. French deputies eventually decided to spurn the ban of heated terraces in restaurants and cafés to April 2022. So, starting from April 1, outdoor heating on terraces will be banned.

Coronavirus: selling and drinking alcohol still prohibited past 10 p.m. in Paris again

As Paris and the entire France are back on lockdown, this Thursday November 5, the police headquarters release a decree updating the ban of selling and drinking alcohol past 10 p.m. Bars and restaurants must implement these measures starting Friday November 6, 2020.

Mandatory masks in Paris: the measure ultimately does not apply to cyclists and runners

Facemasks are mandatory in Paris starting Friday August 28, 2020 at 8 a.m. But does the measure also apply to cyclists and runners? After announcing that everybody was to yield to this obligation, excluding “users riding inside motor vehicles”, the police prefecture back-pedaled saying that ultimately cyclists and runners do not have to wear a mask to move around Paris and the inner suburbs of Paris.
