Notre-Dame de Paris: Temporary bleacher seating on the forecourt being dismantled

In Paris, the temporary bleacher seating installed on the forecourt of Notre-Dame Cathedral following the 2019 fire will start to be dismantled from January 12th. This is part of ongoing redevelopment work around the cathedral. The dismantling process, which will run until February 6th, coincides with preventive archaeological excavations and the start of a major project to transform the plaza and Île de la Cité.
