While most discounts, reduced rates and other advantages stop at the age of 26, the European youth card extends to the age of 30: here are the best deals, discounts and bargains, in France and throughout Europe.

If you haven't already heard of it, the European Young People's Card is a must-have for all those under 30 who like to travel, adventure or simply take advantage of bargains close to home. Valid in no fewer than 38 European countries, the card offers over 60,000 good deals for young people aged 12 to 30.

In Paris, we already know the Pass Jeunes, which enables 14-25 year-olds to take advantage of great discounts and numerous free outings in the capital: exhibitions, cinema, sports, unusual activities... Now, the Carte Jeunes Européenne (European Youth Card) has been added to the family of good-value cards, for young people aged 12 to 30 living in Europe. Once purchased (for €10 for the digital version or €13 for the plastic version, postage included), you'll be able to take advantage of numerous cultural, dining, entertainment, sports, transport and accommodation benefits... In France or Europe.

Behind this initiative is theInnovation Jeunesse Découverte association, which itself depends on the Council of Europe as part of the development of the European Youth Card. From the outset, the aim has been to facilitate access to transport, sport, culture and a wide range of experiences for young people, whether they live in Europe or are on a mobility scheme in a country other than their own. For a wealth of good deals, you can already order your European Youth Card!
