The town of Montmagny, in the Val d'Oise, is celebrating its national holiday this Thursday, July 13, 2023. On the program: a popular ball for all and a fireworks display to be admired from the Charles Grimaud stadium. Don't miss this free event open to all!
Situated between Sarcelles, Enghien-les-Bains and Pierrefitte-sur-Seine, the commune is part of the Montmorency valley. Here you'll find traces of the past, dating back to prehistoric times. Today, this rich history can be seen in various buildings and monuments, such as the churches, the Sainte-Thérèse chapel, the former seminary...
In July 2023, Montmagny pays tribute to the Revolutionaries. Like many other towns in France, the national holiday is celebrated to commemorate the storming of the Bastille and the fall of royal power. This date marks the beginning of the Republic in France, and of a fairer, more egalitarian society. It's customary to celebrate July 14th with balls and fireworks. A tradition well respected in Montmagny!
This year, to celebrate the French national holiday, the town is inviting us to the Charles Grimaud stadium on July 13. Starting at 9 p.m., the B.Band group will get us dancing. At 11 p.m., turn your eyes to the sky to enjoy the fireworks. A great program for young and old alike!
