July 14: history of the firemen's ball

The Bal des Pompiers is a decades-old tradition, offering an evening of dancing and merriment while paying tribute to firefighters. In the 15th arrondissement, this event takes place at the Caserne Grenelle, located in the heart of the dynamic Beaugrenelle district, a stone's throw from the Beaugrenelle shopping center and not far from the Eiffel Tower. Since its inception, the ball has become a not-to-be-missed event, giving locals and visitors alike a chance to discover the world of firefighting. The funds raised during the evening also support the social work of the fire department, adding an extra dimension of solidarity to the festivities.

Before you cut loose on the dance floor at the Caserne Grenelle, why not take the day to discover the wonders of the 15e arrondissement? For a successful before, start with a stroll along the Front de Seine promenade, offering stunning views of the Tour Eiffel and the banks of the Seine. Next, head to the Parc André Citroën for a moment of relaxation or an outdoor picnic. Finally, a tasty pause at the Marché Saint-Charles, with its colorful stalls and fresh produce, is ideal for a bite before joining the buzzing atmosphere of the ball.
