Such is the case with Josselin Marie, Chef des Cuisines at theHôtel de Vendôme, who has imagined a jewel box to die for.

Imagine a chic case containing a bracelet in the guise of a log!

Beneath the bracelet and the sugar paste base with its stitched leather effect lies a cake with wintry flavours.

On a hazelnut Dacquoise cookie, topped with a praline and hazelnut plume embellished with feuillantine, a creamy milk chocolate mousse blends delicately with the acidity of a clementine confit.

As for the dark chocolate lid, it gives the log its crunchy side.
