In 2025, Hanukkah will take place from December 14 to December 21, 2025. During this Jewish festival, which celebrates the , families exchange gifts, indulge in traditional pastries, and most importantly, light a new candle on an eight-branch menorah each evening—plus an additional shamash that stands above the rest.
Like every year, the French Loubavitch movement takes the opportunity to organize public lighting of the candlestick, the hanoukia, all over France, and Yvelines is no exception. Several towns in the 78 region will be taking part, and the Jewish community will be able to come together for a wonderful moment of communion. Of course, the event is free of charge, and will take place in the main squares of the various towns.
