It's a genuine treasure trove for anyone who still has a childlike imagination. A small themed museum that appeals to both kids and grown-ups, the Toy Museum reveals a little more during the 43rd edition of the Heritage Days. All weekend long, discovery and themed tours are on offer for the curious. Mark your calendars for September 19 and 20, 2026 to explore this museum dedicated to our childhood companions!
Located in Poissy, in the porterie of the former priory of Poissy, this museum houses a vast collection of nearly 14,000 objects, including 600 games and toys, offering a fascinating journey through the world of toys, from Antiquity to the present day. Dolls, cuddly toys, miniature vehicles and racetracks, board games and construction sets, scientific games, skipping ropes and figurines... Fashions come and go, technologies evolve, but children's passions remain intact.
If you'd like to discover the games of yesterday and today, and enjoy some great entertainment for the whole family, we'd like to invite you to take advantage of this free weekend at the Musée du Jouet! Here's the detailed program of events that await you during these two festive days, but please note that booking is compulsory!
