Everywhere in France and in some fifty European countries, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) are held on the third weekend in September. During these two days, the curious are invited to visit unique cultural establishments. Whether it's a site open to the general public, or one that's usually closed to the public, this event opens its doors to all places of interest. The event also has the advantage of offering a wide range of free activities, often for the whole family. Whether museums, monuments, official institutions or other, there's something for everyone, and you're bound to find THE visit that will make you dream.
