Annie and Claude Daviron open the gates to their garden, a living emblem of the wine-growing tradition that once threaded through the furrows of the 18th and 19th centuries, nestled between vines and fruit trees.

Discovering the teaching vineyard garden
Visit the educational vineyard garden at Aux Pieds des Murs, where Déborah Claise is developing an arboricultural initiative grounded in sharing and transmission.
Take in the Ampelographic Exhibition presented by the Academy of Agriculture of France, followed by a 5 p.m. address from André Fougeroux, a fellow of the academy.
At 6 p.m.: a shared tasting of berries, grape juice, and sparkling chasselas.

Saint-Amand Church
Guided tour of Saint-Amand Church
The origins of Saint-Amand Church date back to the 12th century.
Having been enlarged and redesigned several times, it is at once a historic site and, above all, a living space of prayer.
Enjoy a guided tour of the building, led by the parish team, complemented by an exhibition of liturgical objects loaned by the diocese and by nearby churches.
With the parish’s titular organist in attendance.

Thomery circuit
Guided tour of Thomery centered on the Chasselas
A journey through the centuries to discover the varied cultures of the “Chasselas.” It would later surge in popularity thanks to a preservation technique called “à rafle verte,” which makes fresh grapes available year-round. The canes and bunches were stored from October to May in small glass bottles filled with water and a piece of charcoal, in grape-storage rooms, protected from heat and light. A unique specimen of this setup will be revealed during the tour.

Salomon Gardens
The Thomery Chasselas: from gardens to Salomon’s orchard
From glasshouses and espalier walls at Jardins Salomon to the fruitier, this exceptional open-site venue unveils the grand history of Thomery’s Chasselas, tracing the blend of techniques, know-how, and a revolutionary conservation method that kept the village thriving for more than two centuries.
Guided tours in groups of 15. The fruitier is not wheelchair accessible.
To join the visit, please arrive 10 minutes early at the church square.

Travel back in time with a curated selection of vintage photographs loaned by residents and period postcards.
Discover 20th-century Thomery through its heritage, the cultivation of the chasselas grape, its events, shops, and the everyday life of its residents.
On Saturdays only: Nicolas Le Guern, PhD in the history of photography, will set up a temporary photo studio and a small exhibition of antique photography gear.
