Journées du Patrimoine 2025: meet the artists of the Mur des Je t'aime in Montmartre

It's almost a cliché to say it: Paris, city of love, is home to an artistic monument dedicated to love and peace. Located in the Square Jehan Rictus in the Montmartre district of Paris is the Mur des Je t'aime. This work of art is constructed like a sheet of paper, on which the words "je t'aime" (I love you) are written more than 300 times, in 250 different languages.

Come and admire this unusual monument, and learn more about its history, on September 20 and 21, 2025: the work can be visited freely on the occasion of the new edition of the Journées du Patrimoine.
