For one weekend, that is the September 19 and 20 for this edition, monuments, churches and other institutions that are sometimes rarely open to the public reveal their behind-the-scenes through tours and activities often free of charge.

For this 2026 edition, a completely unprecedented opening enriches the programme: access to the FDJ UNITED studios, located in Boulogne-Billancourt. To mark the 50th anniversary of the Loto, the institution invites the general public to step through the doors of a venue that is normally closed to visitors, to dive into the heart of a television and popular ritual that has punctuated the daily life of millions of French people for half a century.

Throughout the weekend, this exceptional tour offers a behind-the-scenes look at the making, the history of the show’s legendary draws, and the secrets of production and the technology that bring the broadcasts to life. Step behind the scenes of the FDJ UNITED studios through an immersive experience dedicated to the history of the LOTO, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year. On a 1.5-hour visit, follow a guided journey into the inner workings of a LOTO draw. The itinerary is livened by a host of playful activities, with multiple prizes up for grabs to make the experience even more interactive and memorable. A unique chance to uncover the secrets behind the iconic French game and, for a moment, feel the thrill of its major draws.

Through a guided route, iconic objects, sets and technical installations reveal the various stages of preparation and production of the shows, as well as the manufacturing secrets of games that have become synonymous with FDJ. Visitors gain access to spaces usually closed to the public and can mingle with the teams involved in their design and production.
