On September 10, 2026, Jay-Z marks three decades in the business and headlines the Stade de France for the occasion. Due to this major Paris show by the American rapper, traffic restrictions have been announced around the stadium for Thursday evening. Here's what you need to know.

Jay-Z's hits will echo at the Stade de France this Thursday, September 10, 2026, for the rapper's only Paris show. The New York-born artist marks 30 years in the business. It’s worth noting that his first studio album, "Reasonable Doubt", came out in 1996. But Jay-Z is also likely to use the night to toast the 25th anniversary of the album "The Blueprint".

Due to this new concert at the Stade de France, the traffic restrictions are announced around the Paris-area venue on September 10, 2026. That’s what the road-information site Sytadin reports. So, what should we expect Thursday evening around the Stade de France?

Disruptions are expected, notably on exit ramp No. 9 of the A86 motorway in the outer lanes, but also on exit ramp No. 2 of the A1 motorway (Paris to province), and on exit ramp No. 8 of the A86 in the outer direction. Get the details of these traffic restrictions planned for July 2 and July 4.

Traffic restrictions around the Stade de France on Thursday, September 10

  • Exit ramp No. 9 on the A86 motorway (outer carriageway toward Nanterre) closed from 10:15 p.m. on the event day until 1:00 a.m. the following day.
  • Exit No. 2 on the A1 motorway, Paris-to-province direction, closed from 9:45 p.m. on the event day to 12:30 a.m. the following day.
  • Exit ramp No. 8 on the A86, outer carriageway toward Saint-Denis Pleyel, closed from 10:15 p.m. on the event day to 1:00 a.m. the following day.
  • The hard shoulder of the access ramp No. 9 neutralised from 4:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. the following day.
  • Right-hand lane of the A86 outer carriageway upstream of exit No. 8 neutralised from 10:15 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

Because of the numerous disruptions, Sytadin is urging the public to prioritise public transport, in particular the RER B and D and metro lines 13 and 14.
