The Chinese New Year, also known as the Lunar New Year or Tết Festival, is set to kick off in Noisy-le-Grand on Sunday, February 22nd. Celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse, the event will feature a vibrant parade along with a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages. Workshops, demonstrations, and dazzling performances await attendees in the town center.

Indeed, Paris isn’t the only city celebrating the Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year to include all countries. The town of Noisy-le-Grand in Seine-Saint-Denis is also hosting a lively parade. On Sunday, February 22, 2026, the city offers a colorful lineup of festivities. After celebrating the Year of the Wooden Snake in 2025, we’re now ready to welcome the Year of the Fire Horse, a rare combination that occurs only once every 60 years in the Chinese calendar. This year promises energy and transformation, and the town of 93 has understood this well, organizing a lively event open to everyone.

In Chinese culture, the horse symbolizes free movement and boundless energy—qualities that refuse confinement and stagnation. Paired with the element of fire, representing light and transformation, it encourages everyone to shake off hesitation and step boldly into action. This philosophy inspires a festive spirit, inviting all to welcome this new lunar year with enthusiasm and vigor.
