The Musée Rosny Rail - Musée du Train is one of the Île-de-France's secret museums: even the inhabitants of Rosny-sous-bois don't really know about it, even though they walk past it almost every day. But it's a fascinating museum, and we encourage you to come and discover it during the 21st Nuit des Musées, on Saturday May 17, 2025.
The museum, located beneath Rosny-sous-Bois station, features dozens of vintage items assembled by model rail enthusiasts in the Club Ferroviaire Noiséen.
The collection of this museum dedicated to thehistory of railroads and rolling stock is a treasure trove covering more than 250m². Visitors are immersed in the history of trains, with antique objects, period documents, a miniature layout, reconstructions of small country stations, model trains, vintage trains, and even a real reconstructed driver's cab!
Don't hesitate to bring small children, as the size of the Musée Rosny Rail will amaze them without tiring them out!
