The Canadian Cultural Centre (CCC ), located in the prestigious 8tharrondissement of Paris, was inaugurated in 1970 and celebrates its 54th anniversary this year. Since its creation, its mission has been to promote and disseminate Canadian culture in France, by organizing exhibitions, conferences, film screenings and shows. Housed in a 19th-century mansion, theHôtel de Caumont, the CCC is a haven of peace and culture, opening onto a formal garden, inviting visitors to stroll and enjoy the works of art on display.

Clive Holden - Composition pour un ensemble, ou L'Esprit des Jeux
Clive Holden is interested in the representation of celebrity and fame, the conditioning of our gaze in relation to these types of images, and the gaze of his fellow photographers and filmmakers.
With its central projection specifically designed for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the exhibition consists of a digital, video and photographic installation combining a previously unseen commission, "UNSUNG", with other works by the artist that provide a conceptual context for the commission. The artist works from archival footage of past Olympic and Paralympic Games. The spectacular images of athletic gestures, the dramatic potential of faces, are staged, looped, mixed and transformed to create visual rhymes.
Curators: Catherine Bédard and Steven Bulger
With the support of the Canadian Paralympic Committee and the National Film Board of Canada.

Art Film Program - Bodies in Motion
In conjunction with the exhibition "Composition for an Ensemble", the Canadian Cultural Centre is screening a selection of films from the programming of recent editions of the Festival international du film sur l'art de Montréal. The "Bodies in Motion" program is eclectic, sensitive and resilient, open to the world and to indigenous cultures. Through poetry, dance, art and movement, the 9 films screened give us a glimpse of the possibility of emancipation and self-affirmation.
