To celebrate Nuit des Musées, the Musée Rodin, located in Paris's 7th arrondissement, invites you to enjoy an exceptional nocturne in its premises and gardens on May 17, 2025. The program is here!

The Rodin Museum reveals its secrets by night... To mark the 21st Nuit des Musées, the Musée Rodin invites you to free evening visits this Saturday, May 17, 2025. The museum is located in the heart of theHôtel Biron, a private mansion in the 7th arrondissement built in 1732 by architect Jean Aubert, and chosen by the artist himself to house his museum.

The mansion also includes a large formal garden housing part of the museum's collections, created thanks to Rodin's donation to the French state in 1916. The mansion had been discovered in a state of near-abandonment in 1908. The artist bought it and rented the four rooms on the first floor, before occupying the entire building from 1911 onwards.

The museum reveals Rodin's entire oeuvre in 18 rooms, through clay sketches, plaster casts, bronze sculptures and marbles, showing the evolution of the artist's work throughout his career. L'Âge d'airain, Le Baiser, le Penseur... All works as famous as their creator are on display in the permanent collections. The last rooms also feature works by Camille Claudel, reminding us of the important link between the two artists.

In short, a great visit to make for the occasion!
