Every year, the Nuit des Musées brings together curious minds and culture lovers with its rich program, a bundle of cultural opportunities. Not an opportunity to miss, especially since Paris and the entire Île-de-France are fully in on the action.
Museums, monuments, châteaux and fine institutions throw open their doors to showcase our heritage in a new light. Parisians of all stripes—for a day or a lifetime—soak up exceptional evening hours, free tours, and offbeat activities. Curious to try it? Then don’t miss the next rendezvous set for Saturday, May 23, 2026.
This is also the chance to discover the sublime heritage of Seine-et-Marne. The department 77 is full of treasures to explore and unveils a rich program for this new edition of the Night of Museums. A standout example is the Château de Rentilly, perched between Bussy-Saint-Martin and Bussy-Saint-Georges. This 16th-century manor now houses a center dedicated to contemporary art. It’s also taking part in this year’s Night of Museums. Want to see the program? Check below:
Projects by the second- and first-year classes at Saint-Laurent-La-Paix-Notre-Dame high school in Lagny-sur-Marne, supervised by mediator Isabelle Boulay

The work chosen this year is an oil painting on canvas by Léo Gausson, entitled Pont sur la Gondoire à Gouvernes, featured in the exhibition Éclats de couleur. This project takes shape within the optional visual arts module led by Sabrina Lheureux.
Under the guidance of their teacher and drawing inspiration from Gausson’s tableau, the young artists created silhouettes of small houses that invite the viewer on an imaginary stroll. The color choices were carefully crafted in direct relation to Henri Chevreul’s color wheel. From village to village, the emotional and expressive power of color is brought to the fore.

Accompanied by artist Louise Damiano, an illustrator and graphic designer, the children created two pieces: an endless collective diorama and a collective leporello showing a variety of creations on one side and a collective landscape on the other.

Life in Rose, The Blue Words, The Green Mouse… Colors color many songs. On the occasion of the PrinTemps de paroles festival and as part of the European Night of Museums, the exhibition Shards of Color spotlights music and is experienced through songs. A recital that moves you from room to room, from work to work, and from color to color, guided by the powerful and delicate voices—rock or lyrical—of two talented and intimately connected performers.
With Stéphanie Varnerin and Johanna Welter, accompanied on guitar by Guillaume Repain.
A lovely evening to enjoy with family and friends!
