Every year, the Nuitdes Musées(Night ofthe Museums) offers exceptional evening events in cultural venues throughout the Paris region. For one special evening, museums, monuments, castles, art foundations and other institutions open their doors to offer a vast program of visits, often free of charge, accompanied by workshops, concerts, shows and other surprises for young and old alike. This major springtime cultural event will be held for the 20th time on Saturday, May 18, 2024, and for the occasion, many great ideas for outings are springing up in Paris and the whole of the Île-de-France region.
This year's event will also be an opportunity to conquer the C2RMF, the French museums' research and restoration center. Located on three sites, two in Paris in the Louvre district and the third in Versailles, this research institute has a number of missions to help preserve our heritage. From expertise and restoration to documentation and innovation, C2RMF is the temple of heritage science, at the crossroads of the scientific and artistic worlds.
European Museum Night is back for its 20th edition, a chance for the whole family to visit the C2RMF at dusk.
To celebrate this event, the C2RMF is offering an exceptional visit for 9-15 year-olds, with original activities and entertainment.
Want to don the chemist's gloves? prepare works for analysis on NewAGLAE, the C2RMF's particle gas pedal? accompany the photographic radiologists on their missions? or conduct experiments with the Center's experts? Or conduct experiments with the Center's experts?
This youth tour is for you!
