Great news for culture lovers: on Saturday, May 23, 2026, museums across Paris and Île-de-France are gearing up for a festive night, marking the latest edition of the Nuit des Musées, the event that opens the doors to the region’s finest Parisian and Île-de-France museums.
This Saturday in May, we're taking advantage of this not-to-be-missed event to treat ourselves! For lovers of vintage trains and transport, the Longueville railroad museum- also known as AJECTA - in the Seine-et-Marne department, not far from Provins, is offering a unique evening.
Thus, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, the museum invites you to dine aboard an era‑style dining car, preserved exactly as it was. Nestled among the museum’s permanent displays are the dining cars from Train Bleu and the Pullman, where a dinner will be served.
Before dinner, starting at 4:30 p.m., AJECTA’s volunteers also offer you a guided tour of the museum, an open-air site housing dozens of locomotives and vintage railcars, making it a must-visit for train enthusiasts.
Plan on 55 € per person for this one-of-a-kind evening in Île-de-France, with a 15 € surcharge if you prefer the Pullman car. If the night appeals to you, don’t wait—register by filling out the dedicated form, as seats are limited!
Night at the Museum: A Dinner Event
The museum is open from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (€5), with a dinner event at 7 p.m. at a restaurant (€55).
