Have you been waiting for her? It's back! The inevitable, the indestructible, the traditional Fête de la musique is back on June 21, with a new 41st edition just as festive as its predecessors.
The Fête de la Musique was launched in France in 1982. Launched by the French Ministry of Culture, the aim of this free, popular event is to showcase talented young musicians and amateur singers, eager to share their passion with as many people as possible.
Every June 21, free concerts and DJ sets are held all over France, featuring a wide range of musical styles (rock, rap, R&B, hip-hop, reggae, jazz, blues, classical, French variety, electro...).
In Paris, there's so much to choose from that it's often hard to find your way around. So, if you're looking for an ultra-friendly electro open air in the Parc de la Villette, then head for à la folie.
Every week, this cultural neo-guinguette offers a rich and eclectic program with aperitifs and its now famous Bingo Drag. Inaugurated in 2015, à la folie has established itself in just a few years as an unmissable place to live, eat and party in Paris's Parc de la Villette.
For the 41st Fête de la Musique, à la folie invites you to join us on June 21 from 6pm for an electro open air.
There's only one day a year when you can turn on the sound system on the large terrace under the linden trees at à la folie, and that's June 21. For that reason alone, you can't miss the chance to celebrate music at à la folie! The spot awaits you on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 from 6pm.
