For Music Day 2026, head to the Radio France Auditorium to hear Viva l'Orchestra’s classical repertoire—a group of seasoned amateurs guided by the Orchestre National de France. Meet on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 4:00 PM for this free concert (reservation required) at one of Music Day’s must-visit venues.

It's a not-to-be-missed event, eagerly awaited by many music lovers. Described as a popular and festive event, every year the Fête de la Musique gives music lovers the chance to attend free concerts by artists. Every June 21, amateur and professional musicians take to the streets, as well as bars and restaurants, museums, churches, parks and gardens, to bring live music to life for a unique day and evening.

While rock, jazz, hip-hop, and French variety and electro are often in the spotlight, classical music is as well! For this Fête de la Musique 2026, taking place on Sunday, June 21, Viva l'Orchestra presents a new free concert bringing together more than 110 musicians at the Maison de la Radio et de la Musique.

This year marks the twelfth edition of Viva l’Orchestra ! This major participatory and educational project of the Orchestre National de France brings together amateurs and professionals every June 21 to play side by side. After a year of rehearsals, the public performance takes place at the Auditorium of Radio France by this Orchestra of seasoned amateurs, guided by the musicians of the Orchestre National de France. And this year, it is Liubov Nosova who leads this Radio France Orchestra of seasoned amateurs alongside the musicians of the Orchestre National de France.

Join us on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. at the Auditorium de Radio France, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, to discover the new edition of Viva l'Orchestra with its 110 musicians! Note that free reservations for this event are expected to open to the public in May.
