The Fête de la musique is back ! This year, the big, community‑driven celebration serves up another rich and eclectic lineup to enjoy on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
But what exactly is the Fête de la Musique? Once a year, on June 21 (the day of the summer solstice), this free, popular musical event invites all musicians, amateurs of all levels and professionals alike, to celebrate living music and to showcase the breadth and diversity of musical practice, as well as all musical genres.
Created by the French Ministry of Culture in 1982, the Fête de la Musique has since been exported abroad, becoming a national event in countries such as Luxembourg, Italy, Greece, Peru and Colombia. Over the years, the Fête de la Musique has invented and reinvented itself, becoming an emblematic event that we love to celebrate every June 21.
While there are plenty of musical events in Paris on June 21, there are also plenty in other parts of the Paris region, such as Courbevoie. This year, this town in the Hauts-de-Seine region of the Paris region is offering its residents a program that invites them to travel, and is sure to please as many people as possible.
What’s on the menu? A 2000s-era concert at the Centre culturel, plus a tropical guinguette at the Théâtre de Verdure, and even a choir on the parvis de la bibliothèque Les Violettes... Here’s the program for Courbevoie’s Music Day 2026!
