Celebrate Music Day in Paris with an unprecedented event at the Cité de l’Economie! On Sunday, June 21, 2026, the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot brings this venue, housed in the historic Hôtel Gaillard, to life for a one-of-a-kind evening devoted to classical music.

The Fête de la Musique is back with gusto on June 21, 2026! This now-global celebration began in France in 1982 and invites people to honor music in all its forms with free concerts spilling onto streets, parks, and iconic venues. Paris becomes a genuine festival hub. And this year, La Cité de l'Économie is the must-visit spot!

Set in the majestic Hôtel Gaillard, la Cité de l'Economie is a space devoted to the economy and money. Opened in 2019, the museum invites visitors on a fascinating journey into the economic world through interactive exhibits and workshops. The Hôtel Gaillard, with its neo-Renaissance architecture, provides a unique historical and cultural backdrop that pairs beautifully with the magic of music.

And since we’re talking about magic, note that the musicians from l’École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot are waiting for you at the Cité de l'Ecnomie, on the occasion of the new Fête de la musique, for an unprecedented evening devoted to classical music. To be unveiled on the Sunday, June 21, 2026, a harp concert as enchanting as it is poetic should delight fans of this delicate instrument.

Please note that this music evening is free, but reservations are strongly recommended, available on the official site.
