RATP celebrates music 2025 in disco mode

New Fête de la musique in Paris! On Saturday June 21, 2025, the streets of Paris will be alive with music for a day and evening not to be missed.

Like every year on the same date, budding musicians take to the streets to celebrate all kinds of music (rock, rap, electro, jazz, blues, classical, French variety, reggae, metal, zouk...) with free concerts in the street, but also in squares, parks and gardens, cafés, bars and restaurants, churches, museums and even hospitals.

Concerts have also been announced underground, in the Paris metro to be precise! Once again this year, RATP is taking part in the Fête de la Musique, with a special festive program.

For this year's Fête de la musique, RATP is putting disco music in the spotlight with a series of events, themed decorations and interactive games to be found in several stations across the network. Disco brass band, choir, RATP's Orchestre d'Harmonie performing disco classics... Here's the program!

Fête de la musique 2025 in Paris: RATP goes into disco mode

The RATP program for the Fête de la Musique promises to be rich, especially at Jaurès station (line 5), from June 19 to 21, 2025 :

• Freestanding grills, a large disco ball and graphic floor mats will brighten up the atmosphere at Jaurès station, in a nod to the"Disco" exhibition at La Philharmonie de Paris;
• The Seksion Maloya group will be in concert from 5.15pm to 6.00pm, in the gardens of the Ministry of Culture;
• The RATP harmony orchestra will perform disco classics at Auber station (RER A), on June 21 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm;
• A disco make-up stand will be available to passengers, with the participation of make-up artists;
• Soul train line performance;
• Disco brass band;
• A choir will perform a musical interpretation;
• An express Blind Test Disco: this will be a game of musical questions in which participants will have to recognize disco tracks.
