It's the big event that marks the start of summer! The Fête de la Musique is the XXL cultural event that takes over Paris and the Ile-de-France region with concerts and DJ sets, generally free of charge, in public places, parks, gardens, bars, restaurants and even museums and monuments. Over the course of an evening, the Paris region becomes a giant festival where all musical genres come together! So everyone has the chance to find a good plan for the Fête de la Musique. See you on Saturday, June 21, 2025 for this not-to-be-missed event.
In Essonne , in the heart of the Milly woods, in Milly-la-Forêt, stands an astonishing monumental sculpture, the Cyclop. Created by Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint-Phalle, this 20-metre-high creation creates a surreal setting in this verdant setting. For the Fête de la Musique 2025, it will be a promising spot to enjoy the festivities. We reveal the program.
On Saturday, June 21, 2025, Denis Savary is invited to replay a performance created at Cyclop in 2013, "Étourneaux". It's a piece intimately linked to the propagation of "Ursonate", a guttural, syncopated four-movement sound poetry by Kurt Schwitters. Jean Tinguely himself paid tribute to this extraordinary artist in Le Cyclop.
With the help of the Chanteurs d'Oiseaux, Johny Rasse and Jean Boucault, Denis Savary appropriates the rhythm of "Ursonate" to render it in the whistling of starlings, a performance to be seen and heard on Saturday June 21 at 8.30pm.
For the occasion, we're organizing a shuttle bus from Paris (Porte d'Orléans - opposite the statue of General Leclerc) to and from Cyclop in Milly-la-Forêt.
