June 21 is Fête de la musique! It's a time to get out your instruments and let the sound of live music echo around every corner. On this day, all styles are honored: from rock to rap, classical, blues, funk, reggae, electro, variety, metal and jazz. There's something for everyone!
In Paris, there's no shortage of good ideas for concerts in squares, bars and restaurants, parks, squares and gardens, as well as in museums and churches.
The parish of Saint-Sulpice is getting into the spirit of the Fête de la Musique this year, with a special program on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
Located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, Saint-Sulpice church has been listed as a historic monument since 1915. Although construction began in 1646, it took almost two centuries to complete in 1870. It was here that Victor Hugo and his wife, Adèle Foucher, were married. It's the largest church in Paris and one of the most famous, emblematic of the Saint-Germain district.
On June 21, for the Fête de la musique, Saint-Sulpice church will be hosting an organ concert, as well as folk dancing, pop and rap concerts and a DJ set. Here's the program!
