New Fête de la musique in Paris and Île-de-France on June 21, 2025! Every June 21 since 1982, the people of France have been invited to take to the streets with their instruments and let the music live! Every year on the same date, budding musicians and singers take to the streets, boulevards, squares and bridges, as well as squares, gardens and parks, cafés, bars and restaurants, and sometimes even churches and museums. The aim? To pay tribute to music in all its forms, for one day only.
From rock to metal, rap, RnB, salsa, reggae, zouk, classical, French variety, jazz, blues, funk and electro... all styles will be featured on June 21, thanks to the talent of amateur musicians, as well as some well-known artists giving free concerts for the occasion.
In Paris, there's no shortage ofgreat music events, including at theOlympia, in front of the 15th arrondissement town hall and on the Place de la Bastille. Elsewhere in the Paris region, there's also plenty to celebrate, as in L'Isle-Adam. This town in the Val-d'Oise is once again taking part in the Fête de la musique, offering its residents an eclectic program on the Plage. But be warned: this year, the town in the 95 region of Ile-de-France is expecting you on Friday June 20, 2025, so you can celebrate the Fête de la Musique a day early!
