For this year's Fête de la Musique, to be held this Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Swedish Institute in Paris will be thrilling you in its garden with no less than three free concerts. As every year, the famous traditional Midsommar dances will take place just before the concerts, for a Swedish celebration that's both festive and family-friendly. Here's the program!

June 21 sees the return of the Fête de la Musique, a popular, festive, convivial and, above all, free event. Every June 21, musicians, amateurs and professionals alike, bring out their instruments to offer music-lovers and the curious some fine musical moments. Whether in the street, in a bar, in a concert hall, in a museum, in a church or in a cultural center, the musicians and spectators enjoy the moment to the full.

The Fête de la musique also showcases the breadth and diversity of musical practices, and all musical genres: rock, electro, metal, classical music, French variety, reggae...

In 2025, the Fête de la musique returns to theSwedish Institute, the sublime venue located behind the doors of the Hôtel de Marle, in Paris's 3rd arrondissement. Throughout the year, the Swedish Institute showcases rich collections of Swedish artists and Franco-Swedish links. Music is also well represented.

For Fête de la Musique 2025, the Swedish Cultural Institute is once again inviting a number of artists to perform live in its garden. On this year's program? Juno Francis, the group Tomode and Swedish DJ and producer Olof Dreijer.

But that's not all, since the music festival at the Swedish Institute is also an opportunity to celebrate Midsommar, the famous ancestral tradition that marks the beginning of summer. Every year, on Midsommar, the Swedes erect a floral flagpole around which they dance and sing, wearing a wreath of flowers. On June 21, 2025, the garden of the Swedish Institute in Paris will host traditional Midsommar dances and songs, just before the famous concerts.
