Every year, the Fête de la Musique returns to the streets of France's cities, to celebrate the return of summer, music, and good times shared together. Saturday June 21, 2025 is no exception, with a host of concerts and performances planned in Paris and all the cities of theÎle-de-France region.
It was in the early 1980s that the Fête de la Musique became an institution in France, thanks to the support of Maurice Fleuret, Jack Lang and Christian Dupavillon. For Maurice Fleuret, director of music and dance, the festival was an opportunity to showcase music of all genres, " a liberation of sound, an intoxication, a vertigo that is more authentic, more intimate, more eloquent than art ".

More than 40 years on, this festival has become one of the most eagerly awaited events in France. In the Paris region, there's no shortage of concerts on the evening of June 21.
If you live in Seine-et-Marne, and more specifically Champs-sur-Marne, we've got good news! A series of free concerts, open to all, is being organized again this year at Mail Jean Ferat, between the town hall and the château. An eclectic program is scheduled to keep you dancing on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
