Here it comes again! The Fête de la musique is back, as it is every June 21, with a diverse and varied program that's sure to appeal to the widest possible audience.
A quick reminder for the younger set: the Fête de la Musique is a popular and festive event celebrated every year on June 21. The aim? To give a voice to budding musicians, enabling them to perform live on real stages, express themselves, make themselves known and share their passion with the general public.
While many amateur musicians will be giving concerts on June 21, a number of well-known artists will be taking to the stage to give free concerts in Paris and several other towns in the Paris region.
Other towns go out of their way to offer their residents a rich, diverse and varied program. Corbeil-Essonnes is a case in point.
