Attention all fans of the Fête de la musique!

The famous musical celebration, beloved for its inclusivity and festive spirit, returns as every year on June 21. It’s the perfect chance to catch a multitude of free concerts across France.

In Paris and throughout the Île-de-France region, a wealth of music-friendly plans are lining up, with street-level free events, but also performances in parks, squares and gardens, museums, some institutions, several cultural centers, a few churches—and even in bars and restaurants.

Wondering what’s on the lineup in Paris and Île-de-France on Sunday, June 21, 2026 for this year’s Fête de la Musique? If you’re in Essonne, you’re in for a treat: many concerts are planned across the department, including in Brétigny-sur-Orge.

Each year on June 21, Brétigny invites residents to gather on the lawn of the Léo Lagrange pool to soak up the rhythm of several free concerts. After hosting Faada Freddy and N’Dongo D in 2022, and more recently Colt and Harold, who will be among the honorees celebrating the music on June 21, 2026, this year’s event is set to welcome new talents. The city of Brétigny has invited several fresh voices, including French songwriter-composer-performer St Graal. The artist, who has already wowed Parisian stages at La Maroquinerie, La Cigale and Le Trianon, is eyeing a major appearance at Olympia in 2027. Before that milestone, St Graal will take the stage in Brétigny for the Fête de la Musique 2026!
