La Nuit Blanche takes place in Paris, but also in the inner suburbs! This June 1, 2024, the town of Kremlin-Bicêtre is hosting several events to discover for free.

The first Nuit Blanche de Paris took place in 2002. This artistic event transforms the capital into a gigantic open-air museum: in parks and gardens, streets, quays and squares, museums and monuments, artists give free rein to their talent, enchanting visitors. Whether exhibition, performance, installation, music, show or totally extravagant event, contemporary art takes pride of place in all its forms.

If you live in Paris or the Ile-de-France region, the Nuit Blanche is an event to be experienced at least once in your life. But you don't necessarily have to go all the way to the center of the capital to enjoy it. A number of cultural events are also organized in the towns surrounding Paris.

This is particularly true of Kremlin-Bicêtre, a commune in the Val-de-Marne region (94) accessible by metro line 7. In this small town on the outskirts of Porte d'Italie, you'll find a wide range of artistic events to keep you entertained all evening long. Discover the program for this unmissable, off-the-beaten-track event.

The program for Nuit Blanche 2024 in Kremlin-Bicêtre includes:

  • Salut" show - Compagnie Ayoba
"Salut" is a choreographic show for the street. At the crossroads between gumboot and contemporary dance, it is the trajectory of 5 people seeking to be together, listening to a common oscillation, a collective rhythm, without apparent orchestration, like a flock of birds. Gradually joined by local residents, the group develops its own language, a moving, dancing collective intelligence that takes over the public space.
    7pm to 8pm

    Parvis de la mairie

  • Concert " Les cieux ultramarins aux ardents entonnoirs " - Conservatoire du Kremlin-Bicêtre
Les cieux ultramarins aux ardents entonnoirs is an original composition for 8 upright pianos and 24 pianists by Joachim Leroux -director of the Conservatoire du Kremlin-Bicêtre- specially composed for the Nuit blanche 2024, the title of which is taken from a line in Arthur Rimbaud's famous Bateau ivre. The music refers to the impressions left after reading the poem. It's a sensory experience for the audience, as the eight pianos are arranged two by two at the four cardinal points, and the work plays on the spatialization of sound, with gyrophonic effects in particular. During the performance, the audience is invited to move around the scenic device to fully experience the sound effects.
    8pm to 8:20pm

    Town Hall forecourt

  • Concert "Un voyage onirique" by the Ensemble Variances - Thierry Pécou
Under the direction of composer Thierry Pécou, the Ensemble Variances offers Nuit Blanche audiences a new invitation to travel in an inspired musical dream. A plunge into a dreamlike world inhabited by dream performers!
