The Paris Olympics are fast approaching . From July 26 to August 11, 2024, the capital will vibrate to the rhythm of the Olympic Games before hosting the Paralympic Games from August 28 to September 8. On the program? A flurry of events of all kinds to discover in the four corners of Paris and the Île-de-France region, but also the " Off des Jeux ". Throughout the Paris 2024 Games, sporting and cultural events will be organized in some twenty festivity zones in several Paris arrondissements.
In all, 25 dedicated sites will open their doors free of charge, so that you can celebrate in Paris in the summer of 2024. For those who haven't been able to get tickets, this is an opportunity to experience the Paris Games with friends and family away from the competition venues. In addition to a festivities zone set up on the Parvis de l'Hôtel de Ville, the capital will also be bringing these Olympic and Paralympic Games to life in the 19th arrondissement (Parc de la Villette Club France), the 8th(Parc Monceau), the 16th (Trocadéro Champions Park) and the 5th(Arènes de Lutèce).
" All these sites, organized in conjunction with the arrondissement town halls, will offer sporting and cultural events, catering facilities and live broadcasts of the events," explains the City of Paris on its website. It will therefore be possible to follow the various sporting disciplines in real time, but also to celebrate alongside enthusiasts and amateurs.
" All local players will be mobilized to showcase Parisian know-how. The sites will be accessible and in line with the move to end the use of single-use plastic. They will give priority to short supply chains for beverages and catering ", says the City of Paris.
