The Olympic flame passes through Paris: Who were the famous torchbearers during Monday's relay?

After an arrival and first day of festivities in Paris on Sunday, July 14, 2024, the Olympic flame continues its journey through the capital this Monday, July 15, just a few days before the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.

On this second day, the Olympic flame passed through the mythical Montmartre district, the Place de l'Étoile with the Arc de Triomphe in the background, then the Place du Trocadéro, the Place Denfert-Rochereau in the 14th arrondissement, the Butte-aux-Cailles district in the 13th arrondissement, the Place Léon Blum in the 11th arrondissement, the Place Edith Piaf in the 20th arrondissement and the Rue de Belleville in the 19th arrondissement. The Olympic flame ended its journey in the 10th arrondissement on Place de la République, where a large free concert was announced. On the menu? Shows by Ofenbach, Jain, Mentissa and Eddy de Pretto.

This Monday, July 15, a number of personalities from the worlds of sport, the arts and even gastronomy are expected to take part.
