So, for this February 14, 2021, the stoves of the Michelin-starred restaurant Le George will be lit up to treat lovebirds who are planning to celebrate the lovers' day in their cosy nest. Chef Simone Zanoni is not only offering a star-studded dinner, but also a real trip to his native Italy. The "That's Amore a Casa" menu looks set to deliver on the promise of bringing even more love home.
So what can you expect from this romantic tasting experience? First, a soft focaccia made by the George V's bakers, a pumpkin and chestnut velouté, a 36-month-aged parmesan and a scallop carpaccio with horseradish and Amalfi lemon vinaigrette. A first step that sets the tone for dinner: a marriage of comforting flavors and exceptional products orchestrated with great creativity. You'll then enjoy Amore di Pasta with Lobster, tortellinilovingly prepared according to chef Simone Zanoni's secret recipe, before sharing one of his signature dishes: the unmissable Milanese veal chop served with a truffled jus.
For dessert, pastry chef Michael Bartocetti invites you to end this Michelin-starred dinner on a gourmet note. We discover his Mango Flower, a pastry made with marinated mango and citrus fruit.
